Wallace Charles Goe

The Jackson Bailey Art Museum is sad to announce that
Wallace Charles Goe, died in his sleep
on Thursday December 20, 2007 (Photo on left)
Rev. Charles Goe was involved with the “Life of Christ” painting for 45 years, and was Chaplin of the Fighting Fourth Division of the U.S.M.C. for 26 years. He also was President of the Georgia Chapter of the Lords Day Alliance. He was a Veteran of WW II and received Purple Heart wounded as Chaplain 1945.
Charles was truly one of the choosen few. His love of God and Country were only surpassed by the people he loved. We will miss our friend and partner. We will continue to finish the dream. We will love you always, Jackson & Lynn Bailey

12/4/1919 - 12/20/2007
